Through Ark Cares, our teams continually donate their time, resources, and efforts to support organizations and causes that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
From community outreach and charitable donations to hands-on volunteer efforts, Ark Cares gives our employees opportunities to come together and make an impact throughout the year. Our initiatives continue each quarter, with teams across our regions finding meaningful ways to support those who need it most.
Ark Cares has been championed from the beginning by our CEO, Walter J. Cook II, and our extended leadership team, and it continues to grow through the involvement of employees across Ark. Together, we are committed to making a difference — not just once a year, but all year long.
Ongoing Initiatives
Here Are Some of the Ways Ark Continues to Show Up in the Community.
Hands on a Local Farm
Ark teams spend days volunteering on a local farm, helping care for the animals and supporting the work of running it.
The Puppy Love Initiative
Through Ark’s Puppy Love initiative, teams sponsor dogs and support animal-focused causes throughout the country — among them PAW NC, an organization run by one of our customers.
Angel Tree and Holiday Giving
Ark teams support children and families through Angel Tree and other holiday giving initiatives — 30+ of them sponsored in a single season.
Year-Round Community Support
We support local shelters, schools, food banks, and community organizations in every region where Ark works, throughout the year.
These efforts add up to countless volunteer hours and, most importantly, real impact in the communities where we live and work.
